La Sportiva say: “A lightweight boot that provides a crossover model between the two worlds of mountaineering and backpacking.
This boot is suitable for alpine guides or mountain rescue teams as well as alpine hikers and technical approach routes. The new waterproof and abrasion uppers feature an all round protective rand to protect against harsh terrain while weights have been reduced in comparison with the previous model. The integrated tongue is made from a soft and super stretch fabric for enhanced snug fit and comfort. The exclusive La Sportiva “CUBE” sole by Vibram features lower volumes thanks to the slim mounting fabric layer inserted between the outsole and midsole. This solution allows lower volumes of rubber and lower overall weight. The new technical solutions offered by this model means that Trango Guide 2.0 is the natural “enhanced” version of the previous model, equipped with even more technical features to satisfy the needs of those who work in the mountains.”
