Zamberlan say: “The technical 3000 EIGER LITE GTX RR boots were designed for high level mountaineering. Thanks to features such as the double GORE-TEX technology, the elastic gaiter, the YKK zip and the upper in Cordura® and Microfiber, these boots fulfil all the needs of the high altitude mountaineer and provide optimal thermal insulation even at low temperatures, waterproofness and breathability. Shock absorbency comes from a double density PU wedge and a carbon fibre insole that offers lightness, rigidity and thermal insulation. The internal fastening is a multi-directional, auto-blocking latch giving good closure. The special Vibram® Penia sole offers a better grip and a rubber band helps to protect against scratches and lacerations.”
